ABOUT ANDREW HORNE
Pulse was founded by Andrew Horne with the primary objective being to shape and help people find their truest and most authentic selves whilst overcoming trauma and addiction.
With 12 years of extensive, hands-on experience, Andrew is recognised for his expertise in assisting with counselling trauma cases – from overdoses, attempted suicides to violence and trauma-related incidents. Andrew has developed a solid reputation for his unique talent in balancing empathy whilst establishing much-needed boundaries, which has been key to his success.
As a trained Life and Recovery Coach, a specialized Addiction Counsellor, a volunteer LifeLine Counsellor, and an experienced Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practioner, Andrew is a skilled interventionist who works with groups and individuals. With first-hand involvement working in various drug and rehabilitation centres across the country, Andrew has an in-depth understanding of the addiction journey and its myriad difficulties.
Andrew is a sage guide through this challenging process and provides a variety of modalities to give people the tools they need to navigate their way through addiction.
In Andrew’s own words: “We are the sum of everything that has happened to us in our lives which has brought us to this very moment where we connect.”

Need a people-centred, non-judgemental, and inclusive healing space to help you navigate the challenges of addiction and trauma?
Mission
Considering Andrew’s many years working in the trauma and addiction space, he quickly realised that addiction and trauma result in people becoming everything they are NOT. This leads people to behave in ways that are entirely out of character and often self-destructive.
Given this insight, Andrew’s mission is to help people find their truest and most authentic selves. And in so doing, restore both their purpose and inner well-being.
